After first hearing this I wanted to throw up I mean really she cant act and he is just nasty. So I tried to watch him today and at the end of the day I again want to throw up. This people is an epic fail its a sad day for any fan of the books. I guess we have the books because most of us will not be spending g our money to see this travesty. Just Immaculate Him Out of it
The book could have been written better, I'll admit it. But as a women, I have to concur that many of us like a good storyline with small emotional ties. Full up porn (like the stuff our husbands and boyfriends enjoy) is not for many of us. It takes a small bit of romance to make it work for us. And, frankly.. some of us actually like the ideas presented in 50.. Maybe some fans are projecting and hoping that our husbands would grow a pair in the bedroom (while they proceed to immaculate him out of it)Sorry, doesn't work that way) Or, maybe some women really like domination and can't admit it. I think this is a start, but it's about time that erotica for women at least made some headway.

Gross no. James Deen has a sociopathic presence with no depth. I suffered thru The Canyons. Unlike Christian Bale in American Psycho, Deen lacked humor, charm or self-deprecation that Bret Easton Ellis’ writing calls for. I love Charlie in SOA but not sure he’s the right fit for this role . Christian Grey’s persona has many facets . Perhaps they see something in Charlie that we have not glimpsed .
